Wittenberg University

Wittenberg University is a nationally recognized college for the liberal arts and sciences affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Wittenberg offers bachelor's degree programs in more than 40 areas as well as a master of education program for the advancement of professional teachers. Adult students can choose from day, evening and weekend degree or certificate programs. Wittenberg's traditional program is distinguished by its strong interdisciplinary programs, liberal arts, sciences, management and education. A tradition of academic excellence led to the awarding of the university's local chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. Wittenberg is also one of only a handful of colleges to include community service as a graduation requirement. Eight thriving pre-professional programs help contribute to the record of Wittenberg students in which 70 percent eventually pursue graduate studies.
